Time to move on. Sydney was really sad to leave Venice, she said it would be great to wrap up the city and put it in her pocket. When we asked if she liked it that much she said “Better than Disneyland.” A true compliment!<\/p>\n

But it is that time, off to the the other coast of Italy and the seaside town of Viareggio. The boat taxi driver was great, gave us one last tour of the Grand Canal before we picked our our car. An interesting drive, we went from 33 degrees c and humid in Venice to 22 degrees c and rain in the\u00a0Apennine Mountains <\/a>to 29 degrees c and not too bad on the Mediterranean coast of Italy. We arrived with time to hang out on the beach for several hours then to go out in the vibrant beach night scene. A nice town, Kim said it reminded her of the Jersey shore. Only with real Italians I reminded her. Her response you can only guess at…<\/p>\n
